AIPMT 2023 Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Date. Eligibility, Pattern

NEET (AIPMT) 2023 is one of the most popular medical entrance tests in India, with approximately 2,200 MBBS and 300 BDS seats available at 130 government medical and dental institutes across the country. Except in Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test will be held in May 2023 .

More than 5 lakh students take the NEET (AIPMT) medical admission exams each year. The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test 2023 (NEET) 2023 (formerly known as AIPMT) to screen students for 15% places in all Indian medical and dentistry institutes. NEET (AIPMT) scores are also accepted by a number of state governments, universities, and institutes when admitting students to MBBS and BDS programmes.

The All India Pre Medical Test, or AIPMT, is a national level medical admission test held every year by one of the most prestigious boards in the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi.

NEET, like most national level exams, will be administered by NTA in 2023. The exam will be administered through computer.

Please keep an eye on the NEET website for updates on dates and other vital information. The AIPMT will be held in the month of May this year. There are two papers in the exam. The AIPMT serves as a gateway to the country’s medical schools. The AIPMT exam is aimed at students who desire to enrol in an MBBS or BDS programme.

NEET AND AIPMT Difference

The NEET and AIPMT are two medical admission tests that are administered across India. When we compare the two, we can observe that AIPMT had two stages of examinations: Prelims and Mains. The CBSE was in charge of both AIPMT Exams. AIPMT was afraid that only 15% of AIQ seats would be filled. When NEET was introduced, AIPMT’s reach was significantly expanded. Experts and toppers say that NEET has a lot of competition, but that improving your NEET score is more easier than improving your AIPMT score.

Because these are competitive tests, achieving well isn’t enough; students must outperform their colleagues. The NEET provides seats in medical schools all around the country. AIIMS has recently joined NEET. Because seats are restricted, candidates must achieve a national or state rank in the top 1% to 2% to be admitted to a premium national or state college via NEET.

Tips for NEET (AIPMT) 2023

  • Understand the topic thoroughly: To win any war, you must first comprehend the plan and then adapt to it. The majority of the multiple-choice questions are rational. As a result, in order to pass the coveted NEET (AIPMT) 2023 exam, you must understand the finer points.
  • Practice: As part of your study method, you should get a thorough comprehension of each topic before engaging in extensive practise. Past year papers can assist you in achieving good grades.

Subject wise tips for NEET preparation

Remember that the approach to your board exams and the NEET entrance are completely different as you create your NEET preparation strategy. While the former necessitates a focused effort in order to display lengthy derivations, the latter necessitates short tips and techniques in order to arrive at the final result. NEET preparation is more focused on the intricate details and bypasses the generalisation for the same syllabus as your class XI and XII Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

You may need to review previous year paper patterns in order to learn the most crucial aspects of the entire curriculum that are frequently questioned in the test and to avoid those that are largely overlooked. While a result, you must be astute as you go over the full syllabus, focusing on different chapters as needed. This will boost your productivity.

Let’s understand the specifics of preparing the three subjects.

Tips for studying Physics

Always start your NEET Physics preparation by learning the fundamental principles from your NCERT books. This serves two vital purposes: one, you’ll be simultaneously studying for your board exams, and second, you’ll be laying a solid foundation for future job. Once you’ve mastered the fundamentals, you can go on to more difficult subjects from solid reference books like HC Verma’s Concepts of Physics or DC Pandey’s Objective Physics. These will provide a greater variety of questions to practise with. Remember that physics is a conceptual science, and it is critical that you grasp the concepts so that you can solve problems quickly.

After studying the topics, you must practise the problems on a regular basis. In the long run, this will help you recall the principles. To tackle Physics questions, you should have strong analytical skills.

Tips for studying Chemistry

Theoretical notions, challenges, and a large number of chemical equations are all found in chemistry. In addition to learning from NCERT books, popular publications by skilled authors can help you understand all of the ideas. You can highlight essential areas and take notes while studying so that you can review them later. Use good reference books like Modern’s ABC of Chemistry for class XI and XII, or Dinesh’s Chemistry to practise the equations and problems. Inorganic, organic, and physical chemistry books are also available.

Tips for studying Biology

The most significant subject for MBBS and BDS students is biology. This topic also has a higher weighting in NEET than Physics and Chemistry. Along with NCERT Biology books, you can study from some decent novels. Concepts are crucial because they can help you solve many types of questions on the exam. For practising objective type questions, you can use Trueman’s Biology Volume 1 and 2, Objective Biology by Dinesh, and Pradeep Publication’s Biology.

These are some medical exam ideas for those who are wondering how to prepare for the NEET. Students who follow these NEET preparation strategies will be able to complete each topic in the time allotted.

NEET (AIPMT) 2023 Preparation Tips

Let’s have a look at some NEET Preparation tips and tactics below:

Regularly practising problems for problem-oriented disciplines is an effective technique to grasp information. While studying a subject, you can pick one topic and practise the problems after properly understanding the concepts and equations. You can even create your own shortcuts while working on multiple problems at the same time.

Make a study schedule.

A well-planned timeline can assist NEET hopefuls in sticking to their schedule and allocating equal time to all topics. You can also set aside time for mock tests and evaluate each subject’s errors. It’s time to accept the fact that medical preparation isn’t easy. Those who maintain their spirit and commitment will be able to make this journey a resounding success.

This can now be accomplished in a variety of ways.

Prioritize the Subjects: Do this based on the paper patterns from prior years.

Maintain the Perfect Balance: Maintain a proportionate balance of study and relaxation time to maintain excellent health and mental calm throughout the day.

Stick to the Schedule: It’s difficult to catch up once you start deviating from the schedule, so don’t do it. Keep a buffer day per week, if necessary, to finish whatever is left unfinished.

Solve last year’s NEET papers

While completing NEET sample papers will help you determine your level of preparation, it will also assist you in learning time management. You can increase your speed and accuracy by practising prior papers. Solving them will give you an understanding of the question paper pattern, the difficulty level of the questions, and the weightage of the questions in NEET. It will also allow you to establish a tempo for working within the three-hour time frame. With 180 questions in the NEET exam and a 180-minute exam window, you only have roughly a minute to answer each question, so practise, practise, practise till you get there.

Weaker Areas Demand More Time and Focus: You’ll be able to spot the portions that need more improvement if you practise at a set pace. Every week, use the buffer day to practise problems from the same. Seek timely advice from your coach, a peer, or a senior to assist you in navigating the same. Allow them to review your progress on a regular basis and provide feedback. This will assist you in improving and instilling a sense of self-assurance.

Create a list of tricks and codes to assist you: Time management is crucial in entrance tests such as the NEET. To go through the questions quickly in the allotted time, it’s best to come up with a few analogies or codes to help you recall formulae, definitions, and diagrams.

Take breaks

While studying for the NEET, you should take regular breaks. Taking breaks allows you to focus more effectively on difficult topics and prepare more efficiently.

Materials for research

Study resources are an important part of any competitive exam preparation. Before you begin studying a topic, you should select two or three books from which to study. Changing books frequently will cause confusion, and you will waste more time on the same subject.

To stay on track with NEET preparation, avoid these common blunders.

Those who fall behind on their schedules may find themselves in serious jeopardy. NEET requires all dedication, which you must provide. In the long run, a pile of unresolved issues isn’t beneficial.

NCERT is Crucial: With so many reference books and coaching notes to choose from, don’t forget to build your foundation with NCERT books. More than 60% of the NEET question paper is covered under the NCERT syllabus.

Maintain a Well-Balanced Schedule: NEET preparation does not necessitate a decline in health. So strike a balance between studying and relaxing. It’s also critical to look after your emotional wellness.

4. Never overlook any subject: Because all three subjects are equally vital, they should never be ranked. You must prepare each of them to the same standard and not leave any topic unattended. You can, however, prioritise the time spent on a certain topic based on previous year’s paper patterns.

5. Use a Limited Number of Books: Using a large number of books will not aid your case. When it comes to literature, be particular. So, in each of the three courses, do not ignore NCERT and refer exclusively to the best one-two reference books that aid practise.

Revise Your Subjects Well

Revising properly aids memorization and keeps track of your practise levels on a frequent basis. You can now revise in a variety of ways.

Monthly Review: Select MCQs from the month’s topics (as listed in your planner) and devote one minute to each question. After that, figure out where you’re falling short and work on it. This will help you simulate a real-life exam situation, and with each passing month, you will become more accustomed to answering these questions correctly.

2. Prepare Self Notes: Studying and preparing condensed notes for oneself is one of the most effective strategies to revise. As you learn a diagram and its accompanying theory, practise it with your hands, make parallels, and revise it on a regular basis. You may also consult the revision notes.

3. Take a Lot of Mock Tests: Whether at your coaching or at home, take a lot of mock tests and time yourself. For three hours, recreate the exam situation with no interruptions and put out true effort. Get a coach/guide to evaluate the test and work on the areas where you need to improve right away. As you can see from the graph, this performance analysis will progressively increase your morale.

These NEET preparation tips will assist you in achieving a decent NEET score and avoiding costly blunders during the preparation process. NEET applicants should be diligent in their preparation and allocating time for crucial areas as the competition grows each year. One of the most significant NEET tips is to focus on a few themes and become well-versed in all of the concepts rather than studying all of the topics in all of the subjects without a firm grasp on concepts and formulae.
