Assam ITI Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The candidate needs to check his/her eligibility to ensure a smooth admission process in the desired course. The eligibility criteria for Assam ITI admission is as follows-

  • Candidates must be a citizen on India and domicile of Assam State
  • Candidate must have passed 10th class from a recognized Education Board like CBSE/Assam school Examination Board with subjects like Mathematics and Science
  • The minimum age limit for admission is between 14 years of age
  • For Engineering Trade – The candidates must have passed the entry qualification examination with Mathematics & English.
  • Non-Engineering Trade -The candidates must have passed the entry qualification examination with English

Assam ITI Admission 2023 Application Form

The application form for Assam ITI admission can be filled using online means. The following are the steps that the candidate must follow to register him/her for the ITI course-

  • Visit the official website of the Assam ITI-
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Assam ITI
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

Documents required for Assam ITI Admission

The following are the list of documents required for Assam ITI Admission-

  • Scanned Passport Size photograph under 1 MB
  • Scanned copy of class  10th, passed certificate/ Mark Sheet showcasing all the marks obtained in the subjects
  • Aadhar Card

ITI Application Fee

The application fee for the Assam ITI application form is Rs.25/- for all candidates.

Admission/ Selection Process

 The selection process of the AP ITI is based on the merit list which is based on the marks obtained in the qualification examination. Based on the merit list candidates will be provided with colleges where they can apply for the admission.

A counselling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from. You can choose the colleges based on your liking, fees, location, etc. when appearing for the counselling session of a particular college, the candidate must provide relevant documents in original as well as a printout.
