CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT is as follows-
- The candidate must be a permanent citizen of India
For Undergraduate Courses
- B.Tech with integrated M.Sc- Candidate must clear the 12th class from a recognized board with at least 50% marks in mathematics alone, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined
- B.Tech Marine Engineering- Candidate must have qualified 10+2 examination with at least 60% of marks combined in English and PCM, and with a minimum of 50% of marks separately in Mathematics
- BBA/LL.B (Hons)/B.Com.LL.B (Hons.)- The Candidate should have a qualified 12th class with a minimum of 60% marks in any stream
For Postgraduate courses
- M.Tech – Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree in B.Tech or BE from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% marks. A candidate who qualified GATE Exam will have to show the scorecard for the admission
- L.L.M –Candidate should have a Graduation degree in Law with at least 45% of marks
CSAC CAT Admission Process
The Application form of CSAC CAT can be filled online. The following are the steps by step application process-
- Visit the official website of the CSAC- https://admissions.cusat.ac.in/
- Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
- Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by CSAC
- Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
- A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
- Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
- Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
- Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Banking, or challan
- Take a printout of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

CUSAT CAT Counselling
A counseling session will be organized for the candidates who have qualified for the entrance examination. Based on the merit list, the candidates will be offered different colleges to choose from. You can choose the colleges based on your liking, fees, location, etc. when appearing for the counseling session of a particular college, the candidate must provide relevant documents in original as well as a printout.
