Delhi CET 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for Delhi CET 2023 is as follows-
- The candidate must be a citizen of India
Test I (Diploma in Engineering and Non-Engineering 10th based)
- Before applying for Test I, ensure that the candidate must have passed 10th or some equivalent examination.
- Candidate must have acquired at least 35% marks in Mathematics, Science, and English subjects.
Test- II (Diploma in MOP English and MOP Hindi 12th based)
Modern Office Practice (English)
- Minimum qualification must be 12th or some equivalent exam. In addition to this, a candidate must have attained at least 45% marks in best three subjects.
- 5% marks relaxation for SC category candidates
Modern Office Practice (Hindi)
- Must have passed class 12th or some equivalent examination. In addition to this, the candidate must have acquired at least 45% marks in best three subjects which mainly inclusive of Hindi as well as Sanskrit
- 5% marks relaxation for SC category applicants
Test III (Diploma in Pharmacy 12th based)
- Current affairs, Hindi comprehension consisted of grammar and logical & analytical ability.
Test IV (Admission in 2nd year Lateral Entry ITI or 12th based)
- The applicant must have passed12th or some equivalent exam with subjects such as Biology/Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
- Candidates must have secured at least 45% marks in all the above subjects.
- There is age relaxation of 5% for SC and ST category candidates
Test V (Part Time Diploma)
- For Lateral Entry admissions candidates must have passed 10+2 Vocational Engineering Stream pass outs / ITI pass outs against 10% supernumerary seats in equivalent disciplines like technology, engineering, & various diploma courses.
- Candidate must have passed class 12th or some equivalent vocational engineering stream. Those who have completed 10th or equivalent with 2years ITI (Engineering) from ITIs/ITCs can apply for the exam.
Delhi CET 2023 Application Form
The application form of Delhi CET 2023 can be filled online. The application form are released February each year and you can follow these steps to fill the application form-
- Visit the official website of Delhi CET by following this link-https://delhidiploma.admissions.nic.in
- Choose what type of test you want to give based on what diploma you are pursuing
- Navigate to the admission section of the website and click on the Apply button
- Once the application form is opened, you have filled the application form with correct details like name, address, etc.
- After filling the form, click Next and upload the scanned copy of the required documents and click Next
- Submit the application processing fee using Debit/ Credit Card, UPI etc.
- Take a print out of the application form and the payment status for future use

Based on what type of diploma you are following the syllabus of the examination changes. The following are the syllabus of Delhi CET 2023-
Test I (Diploma in Engineering and Non-Engineering 10th based)
- Subjects like physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology & English subjects from the syllabus of class 9th and 10th
Test- II (Diploma in MOP English and MOP Hindi 12th based)
- Current affairs, analytical and logical & ability, and English comprehension and Grammar from class 12th
Test III (Diploma in Pharmacy 12th based)
- Current affairs, Hindi comprehension consisted of grammar and logical & analytical ability.
Test IV (Admission in 2nd year Lateral Entry ITI or 12th based)
- Subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Biology from class 11th as well as 12th
Test V (Part Time Diploma)
- Subjects such as Physics, Mathematics & Chemistry of class 10th, 11th and 12th
Admit Card
The admit card is an important document that is necessary for you to enter the examination hall without this. The release date of the admit card is revealed 2-3 week before the date of examination. It is mandatory for the candidates to follow all the rules mentioned in the admit card to be eligible for the exam, failing this could result in cancellation of the exam.

Counselling
Counselling is where the candidates who have passed the entrance examination seek admission in the eligible college. There are multiple colleges under a University and counselling session is organised by the colleges to invite the candidates for admission in their respective colleges. In this event, you have to visit the venue on the notified date with the necessary documents and confirm your seat by paying the fee for the first semester. You have to select the college that you want to choose as well however the availability of the college also depends on the merit.

- Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
- Class 12 marks sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
- 10 recent color photographs
- Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
- SC/ST/OBC Category certificates (if any)
- Admission fee payment at the cash counter of the admission venue either in cash or through bank demand draft (DD) from a nationalized bank
