GCET Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for the GCET entrance examination-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India
  • The candidate’s age must be above 17 years of age before 31 December 2024
  • The candidates are required to have passed class 12th from a recognized board in subjects like maths, Physics, and Chemistry with 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates)

GCET Application Form 2024

You can follow these steps to fill out the application form for the GCET entrance examination-

  • Visit the official website of CGET and click on the application form link and get yourself registered using your email and password
  • After logging in, you’ll have to fill out the application form with details like name, address, educational qualification, etc.
  • After filling out the application form, upload the documents mentioned below followed by clicking on the pay button
  • You can pay for the application form using your credit card/debit card, Net Banking, UPI, etc.
  • After making payments, make sure to take print of the application and payment receipt

Documents Required for GCET

The following are the documents required for the GCET Application Form-

  • Class 10th and 12th marks/ passing certificate
  • Scanned photograph and left-hand thumb impression
  • Identification Ids- Aadhar card, PAN Card, Voter’s card, etc.
  • Category Certificate Scanned (if any)

GCET Application Fee

The application fee for GCET is Rs.2000/- which can be paid online using your credit card/debit card, Net Banking, UPI, etc

GCET Selection Process

The selection for the GCET entrance examination will be based on the merit list prepared by various universities in Goa. These universities release cut-off mark lists which will be used as admission criteria for the candidates. The candidates will have to apply for the counseling session separately at the university/college level.
