GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test is an international level entrance exam commenced by GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council). The candidate seeking a post-graduate MBA or Masters in Finance must go through the GMAT entrance examination. There are a large number of institutions in foreign countries which consider GMAT scores to offer admission. Any individual who wants to pursue MBA from foreign Universities must go through GMAT entrance examination to be eligible. GMAT 2024 Application Form

To register for the GMAT Entrance application form, follow these steps-

  • For participating in the GMAT Entrance exam, the candidate must register themselves online using the official GMAT’s website-mba.com
  • After getting yourself registered, you have to fill your form with your contact details, academic, and other details asked
  • The candidate must scan the necessary documents and upload them. You can find the documents required for the entrance in the document required section
  • Candidate can also decide for exam centre, exam date as per the convenience
  • Candidate can attempt the excam five times a year and one time a month
  • When the above steps are completed, you need to pay for the entrance test
  • Now download the payment receipt and application form for future use

GMAT Application Fee

The application fee of GMAT is $250 US dollars (approximately Rs. 17027.5 in India). You can pay the fee online as well as offline using MasterCard, Visa, JCB cards and American Express. Candidates can also pay the fee by Money Order and Cheque.

GMAT 2024 Eligibility Criterion

The following are the eligibility criterion that the GMAT entrance test required for the candidates-

Age Limit

  • The minimum age limit for GMAT entrance exam is 18 years of age with no maximum age limit

Education Qualification

  • The candidate must be a graduate form a recognized university or institute
  • At the time of admission, the candidate should also be fulfilling the eligibility criteria set bt the university

Number of Attempt

  • Candidates can take this exam five times within a year, however, there must be at least 16 days gap before rescheduling the GMAT exam
  • Candidates can attempt for GMAT Exam 8 times in total

GMAT 2024 Exam Pattern

The GMAT Exam has four separately timed sections. You will have the opportunity to take two optional eight-minute breaks during the exam. A total of 3.5 hours to complete the examination. The following are the examination pattern GMAT-

Analytical Writing Assessment

  • The Analytical Writing Assessment Section of the GMAT requires you to analyze the reasoning behind a given statement and write a critique of that argument. You will be evaluated based on the critical thinking and communicating ideas

GMAT 2024 Scores

There are two type of score provided to the candidate taking exam. At the  beginning of the test  the candidate will be asked to choose 5 schools that they want to get admission. When you will choose to get score, your scores will be submitted to the school which will initiate  the admission process in that school.

Unofficial GMAT Scores

Unofficial GMAT Scores are those scores which is provided to the candidate right after the test has been over. You will see four of your five scores: the Quantitative, Verbal, Integrated Reasoning and Total Scores (score based on the Quantitative and Verbal sections). You will be provided with 2 minutes to accept the score or cancel them, when no choice has been made the score gets automatically canceled.

In case you have accepted the score, you will be provided with a print out of your score which is your unofficial GMAT Score.

Official GMAT Scores

The GMAT 2024 Result will be declared within three weeks after the examination has been conducted. The candidates can check the email sent regarding your test result. Using the result score obtained in the test, the candidate can apply to the international universities. The result socre will be valid for 5 years. your Official Score Report includes:

  • Digital photograph taken at the test center
  • Self-reported background information, such as telephone number, undergraduate institution, grade point average (GPA), and intended graduate study
  • Percentile rank
