Selection Process of IBPS Clerk 2023
The IBPS Clerk CRP X recruitment procedure is divided into two stages:
1. The Preliminary Exam
2. Exam for the Mains
To be considered for a clerical cadre position in most of the top Public Sector Banks, students must pass both of these tests. Exam Pattern for IBPS Clerk 2023
The IBPS Clerk exam is divided into two parts: preliminary and mains. Both of these papers use an online format for their written exams. The exam will be structured as follows:
IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination (Phase 1)
The IBPS Clerk CRP preliminary exam is an online exam that assesses a candidate’s aptitude, cognition, and English skills. There are three sections in total, and to advance to the mains exam round, the candidate must pass each section’s cut off.
Candidates must complete each component of the question paper within a time limit of 20 minutes. The paper’s composite mark is 100, and IBPS determines the passing scores, which are likely to alter every year depending on the exam’s difficulty level.

Applicants must complete each of the three examinations by achieving the minimal cut-off marks set by IBPS. A sufficient number of candidates in each category will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination, as determined by IBPS based on requirements.
IBPS Clerk Mains Examination (Phase 2)
The Exam Pattern for the IBPS Clerk 2023 Exam has remained unchanged. The IBPS Clerk Mains Exam will now consist of 190 questions to be answered in 160 minutes.
The Computer Aptitude and Reasoning Ability Sections were previously held separately. However, in the most recent IBPS update, both of these portions have been combined and will now consist of 50 questions to be answered in 45 minutes. Wrong Answers Penalty: There is a penalty for wrong answers noted in both the preliminary and mains examinations. An incorrect answer to an objective question will result in a penalty of one-fourth of the overall mark for that question. If a question is left blank or unanswered, there would be no penalty.
IBPS Clerk Exam Final Score Calculation:
The following factors are taken into account when calculating the final score for the IBPS Clerk exam:
• The results of the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be taken into account for final selection.
• To be considered for final merit, candidates must pass Phase 2.
• For each category, the final merit list is based on the total score out of 100.
Applicants with the highest merit rank in each category are chosen at the end.

Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk 2023
• To be eligible for the IBPS Clerk Exam 2023, a candidate must meet the following three requirements:
• The candidate must be between the ages of 20 and 28. A candidate must have been born between September 2, 1992, and September 1, 2000. (both dates inclusive).

Educational Qualification IBPS Clerk 2023
• A applicant must have a minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any discipline or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Central Government. The applicant must have a certificate proving that he or she has passed the qualifying examination.
• On the day of registration, the applicant must have a valid Mark-sheet / Degree Certificate indicating that he or she is a graduate and state the percentage of marks earned in graduation while registering online.
• Computer Literacy: Applicants must have operating and working knowledge of computer systems, which means they must have a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/having studied Computer / Information Technology as one of their courses in high school, college, or institute.
• It is desirable if an applicant is fluent in the official language of the state/UT for whose openings they desire to apply applicants should be able to read, write, and speak the official language of the state/UT).

You have the option of selecting your preferred centre when filling out the online application form. However, if seats at your selected locations are unavailable, IBPS may assign you to a centre other than the one you requested.
