Eligibility Criteria
The following are the eligibility criteria that the candidate must have to participate in the examination, which is as follows-
Undergraduate Courses
Candidates who have passed their class 12th or equivalent exam with Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics are eligible for Undergraduate Courses with 60% or equivalent grade (relaxed to pass class for SC/ST candidates)
JEE Scores are required by the candidates
Post Graduate Courses (M.Tech/M.Sc)
Candidate holding a Bachelor’s in BE/ B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline is required
GATE scores are required by the candidates
For Post Graduate Courses (M.Mgt)
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technology and a valid GATE, CAT, or GMAT scores is also required

The following are the steps that you can follow to register for the IISC entrance examination-
The registration for IISC can be done online
visit the official website of the IISC- https://ug.iisc.ac.in/
Click on the Registration button followed by clicking on the signup button
Now, signup using mobile number, email, name, and other important details
Confirm your registration using an email sent to you from IISC
Now login to your website and click on the registration form
Fill the form using correct details followed by uploading the document mentioned below
Now payment page appears, you can pay the application fee using UPI, Credit/debit card, net banking, etc.
After paying the application fee, download the Payment confirmation followed by a printout of the filled application form for future use

IISC Selection Process
The selection process of IISC will be based on the national-level entrance examination. The candidate must go through the entrance examination of the course to get admission also the candidate must meet the minimum cut-off mark decided by the institute. After clearing the entrance exam and meeting minimum cut-off marks. The candidate will have to go through a Personal interview which will test the candidate’s personality and knowledge about the subject.
IISC Cut-off
Cut-off mark is the minimum mark or score that is required by the candidate to take admission into the institute. The cut-off mark depends on many different factors like no of participants, availability of seats, the difficulty of the examination, etc.
IISC Merit List
The Merit List of the IISC will be released on the official website of IISC. In the merit list, all the selected candidates for their respective courses will be displayed. The candidate mentioned on the list will have to further participate in the admission session organized by the institutes.
