IPMAT Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for IPMAT Program-

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India
  • Candidate must have a passed class 12th with at least 60% (Sc/ST/PWD-55%) from a recognized university
  • The maximum age criteria is 20 years of age (22 for SC/ST/PWD/DA)

IPMAT Application Form

You can follow these step by step to fill the application form for IPMAT –

  • Visit the official website of IIM University- https://www.iimidr.ac.in/  
  • Register yourself using your email Id and password. You can follow the on-screen instruction to validate your account using your email ID
  • Now log in to your website and click on the course apply button
  • Now, you have to fill the application form with correct information also take note that you have to meet certain eligibility criteria to apply for the course.
  • You also have to attach your latest photograph passport size and a digital image of your signature
  • Once the uploading of documents is done, you have to pay the application form fee. You can pay your payment online as well using a Debit card, credit card, or Net Banking

Documents required for IPMAT

The following are the necessary document that you must upload on the website while filling the application-

  • The passport size Photograph of the candidate should be in JPG/JPEG format and the Image size should be between 10Kb to 200Kb.
  • Signature of the candidate
  • Left-Hand Thumb Impression of the candidate
  • Class 10th & 12th Certificate of the candidate
  • Post Card size Photograph of the candidate

IPMAT Examination Pattern

The question will be written test pen and paper based. A total of 3 hours will be provided to complete the examination. The performance of the candidate in both PI and GD will account for the final admission. The weight-age division between written exam and GD/PI is 85:15.

Downloading IPMAT 2023 Admit Card

The admit card is the most important document, without this the candidates will not be allowed to give the IPMAT exam. You can download the IPMAT admit card from the official website of IPMAT. The release dates for downloading the IPMAT admit card will be released later and you can keep checking our website.

IPMAT Result

IPMAT shall declare the result on a tentative date that is not yet released. The candidate has to visit the official website of IPMAT and navigate to the result tab to check his/her result. 

IPMAT Selection Process

The selection of the candidates into the university will depend on the academic marks and cut-off marks. Candidates who have passed the entrance examination will be called for counselling. The selected candidates will further call for document verification and counselling process and after that, they will call for interview round. Once the interview round will finish than the further process, authorities will release a final merit list. Admission will be provided to candidates who have name in the final merit list. 

IPMAT Counselling

Counselling is an event where the candidates finalizes there admission by blocking the seat. Candidates who have cleared the entrance examination will be invited to the counselling session. Candidate has to visit the venue with all the necessary documents mentioned below along with 2 set of Xerox copy of the same.

Documents Required for IPMAT Entrance Examination

The following are the document that are required to carry to the counselling session-

  • Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
  • Class 12 marks sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
  • 10 recent color photographs
  • Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
