JNU 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the JNU entrance exam 2023 are as follows-
For B.A (Hons.) 1st Year
- The candidate must have passed class 12th from a recognized board with minimum of 45% marks
For M.A. Course
- The Candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% marks in any discipline from a recognized university
M.Phil. / PhD Program
- The Candidate must have a Master’s degree from a recognized university in any discipline
- Candidate aspiring for a fellowship through the JRF category under the national eligibility test (NET) are also eligible
M.Sc in Life Sciences
- The candidate must hold a B.Tech or B.Sc. or Equivalent in Biological, Physical or Biotechnology or Agricultural Sciences with at least 55% marks
MA in Economics
- The Candidates must have a Bachelor degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks
MCA
- The Candidate must have a Bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks
M.Tech (Statistical Computing / Computer Science and Technology)
The candidate must have a B.Tech, MCA or equivalent degree from a recognized university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics with a minimum of 55% marks
JNU 2023 Application Form
You can follow these steps to fill the application form online-
- Visit the official website of JNU and navigate to the admission tab followed by clicking on the JNU admissions
- Now, register yourself using your email id and password followed by logging in to your account using your login credentials
- After logging in, you’ll have to navigate to the application form section and open the form
- Now, fill the form with correct details like name, address, education qualification, etc.
- After filling the application form, you’ll have to upload the documents required mentioned below
- Now, pay the application fee using for the form and take a printout of the receipt and application form

Admit Card
There are few courses for which the admissions are conducted through entrance examination. The admit card for JNU examination is not yet released, we will update the admit card status once the admit card for the entrance test is released by the JNU.
JNU 2023 Exam Result
The examination result for the entrance examination of different courses is not yet released, we will update the result once JNU releases the examination result.
Counselling
Counselling is an event where the candidate who have successfully passed the entrance examination or made it to the merit list prepared by the university based on the application, will be commenced and offers admission to the candidate. Here, the document verification and other administrative duties. Make sure to carry original as well as xerox copies of your documents.
Documents Required for Counselling
The following are the document that you have to carry when visiting the counselling session-
- Class 10 /high school or its equivalent examination certificate
- Class 12 marks sheet/ grade sheet or equivalent qualifying
- 10 recent colour photographs
- Graduation Degree/ Marks Sheet
- Master’s Degree / Marks Sheet
- Migration/ transfer/ character certificate from the last attended institution
- SC/ST/OBC Category certificates (if any)
- Admission fee payment at the cash counter of the admission venue either in cash or through bank demand draft (DD) from a nationalized bank
