Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria of Karnataka PGCET is as follows-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India and a domicile of Karnataka
  • Candidate having a GATE score card will not require to participate in Karnataka PGCET

ME/M.Tech/M.ArchCandidate must have successfully cleared graduation degree examination from recognised institution with at least 50% marks in the concerned subject and there will be 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category candidatesCandidate is required to have a valid GATE score card

Karnataka PGCET Admission Process

The Application form of Karnataka PGCET can be filled online. The following are the steps by step application process-

  • Visit the official website of the Karnataka PGCET- www.kea.kar.nic.in
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by Karnataka PGCET
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses

Karnataka PGCET 2023 Examination

  • Mode of examination: Karnataka PGCET exam is an offline mode pen paper-based exam
  • Type of question: There will be only objective questions asked in the question paper which is MCQs (Multiple choice questions)
  • Duration of examination: The total duration of the entrance exam will be 2 hours
  • Total no. of questions: There will be a total of 100 questions asked in the exam paper
  • Language of paper: The question paper will be in the English language
  • Marking scheme: in MBA the candidates will be getting 1 mark for each correct answer. In MCA & ME / M. Tech / M. Arch part 1 the candidates will be receiving 1 mark and in part 2 the candidates will be awarded 2 marks for every correct answer
  • Negative marking: There will not be any negative marking in the entrance exam
