The eligibility criteria of KU PGCET is as follows-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India

MSc (Botany)Candidate must have successfully cleared degree examination with Botany from some recognized institution with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject and 40% for those belonging to SC/ST category  
PG Diploma in SericultureCandidate must have successfully cleared BSc (Zoology/ Botany/Chemistry) from a recognized institution with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject and 40% for SC/ST category applicantsCandidate with the BSc (Agriculture) Degree recognized by Kakatiya University may also apply for the course
MSc (Chemistry)Candidate must have successfully cleared the degree examination with Chemistry from some recognised institution with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject and there will be 5% marks relaxation for SC/ST category applicants
MSc (Microbiology)Candidate must have successfully cleared the degree exam in Science from some recognized institution with at least 45% marks in the concerned subject and 40% for SC/ST category applicants

KU PGCET Admission Process

The Application form of KU PGCET can be filled online. The following are the steps by step application process-

  • Visit the official website of the KU PGCET- https://kakatiya.ac.in/
  • Click on the ‘New Candidate Registration’ and start filling in the required details like email ID password etc.
  • Now, verify the email by clicking on the verification link send by KU PGCET
  • Now, Log in to your account and click on the apply button
  • A form will appear, fill the form with correct information
  • Now upload your scanned passport size photograph
  • Now you have to upload the scanned copy of all the certificates and documents mentioned below
  • Now a payment gateway will open where you have to pay the application fee using Credit/Debit, UPI, Net Banking, or challan
  • Take a print out of the payment confirmation slip and the application for future uses
