NEET PG Rank List 2023 – Tie-breaking Rule
Since NEET-PG is an all-India level examination, the chances of two candidates scoring the same marks are higher, therefore a tie-breaker has been adopted by the authorities to decide the rank of an individual. The following are the tie-breaking rule followed by the NTA while ranking for the NEET PG entrance examination-
- The ranking priority will be given based on the seniority of the candidate i.e. more senior candidates will be placed higher in the rankings
- The candidate who has answered fewer wrong answers in the part A will be ranked higher
- The third priority will be given to the candidates who have scored more marks in Part A of the NEET PG examination
- The candidate who has answered fewer wrong answers in part B will be ranked higher
- The third priority will be given to the candidates who have scored more marks in Part B of the NEET PG examination
- The candidate who has answered fewer wrong answers in part C will be ranked higher
