Polytechnic is a diploma course where an individual gets technical education in engineering courses. You can join a polytechnical course just after completing class 10th. It is also called Diploma in Engineering and provides a candidate technical education in the field of Engineering. After completing the diploma in engineering or polytechnic course, the candidates can directly join the B.Tech or B.E course 2nd year as a lateral entry candidate.
Eligibility Criteria for Polytechnic Entrance Exam 2022
The following are the eligibility criteria for pursuing a polytechnic course-
- The candidate must have completed class 10th from a recognized university and just after class 10th the candidate can pursue a polytechnic course
- The candidate can also take lateral entry admission after class 12th and the course tenure will be reduced to 2 years.
