SSC Stenographer 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria for SSC Stenographer-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India or a subject of Nepal, a subject of Bhutan, or Indian Origin candidate
  • The candidates must have passed class 12th from a recognized board
  • The candidates are required to be at least 18 years of age and a maximum of 27, 30 for Group-C, and D respectively. There are also some age relaxations provided to different category candidates-

SSC Stenographer 2023 Application form

You can apply for SSC Stenographer using the following steps-

  • Visit the official website of SSC and click on the Registration button
  • Now, an application form will appear where you’ll have to enter your details like name, address, education qualification, Aadhaar card number, etc. followed by clicking on the save button
  • Now, you’ll be prompted with additional details followed by signing a declaration  
  • After that, you’ll receive the login credential i.e. Username, and password which you’ll have to use in order to login
  • Now, login to your account using your login credentials
  • After logging in, select the SSC Stenographer examination from the given list
  • You’ll be redirected to a partially filled form where you’ll have to fill it with complete details
  • Now, make the payment if any using your credit/debit card, Net banking, UPI, etc.
  • Make sure to take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for the future use

  • Mobile Number (Requires OTP Verification)

SSC Stenographer Recruitment process

The recruitment of SSC Stenographer is conducted in three stages- SSC Entrance examination or NRA CET 2023, Skill Test, and Document Verification. The candidate has to clear each of these stages to become eligible for the next stage. The skill test will be of the typing and the candidate’s speed control in the typing. In the document verification process, the candidate must provide the list of documents mentioned below along with their photocopies to the authorities for verification. After verification is completed, the candidates will be provided with the joining letter.
