TS PGLCET Eligibility

The following are the eligibility criteria for the TS PGLCET entrance examination-

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India with domicile in Telangana state
  • The candidate must have an LLB degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks (45% from reserved category candidates)

TS PGLCET Application Form 2024

  • Now, get yourself registered using your email ID and password
  • After registration is complete, log in to your account using your login credentials
  • After logging in, fill out the application form with details like name, address, educational qualifications, etc.
  • Now, upload the documents mentioned below followed by clicking on the pay button
  • You can pay for the application form with your credit card/debit card, net banking, UPI, etc.
  • Make sure to take a printout of the application form and payment receipt for the future use

The following is the syllabus for the TS PGLCET Entrance examination-

Part A

  • Constitutional Law: Center-State Relations, Emergency Provisions, Fundamental Rights, Amendments to the Constitution, Directive Principles of State Policy, and Executive Judiciary & Legislature
  • Jurisprudence: Ownership and Possession, Schools of Jurisprudence, Sources of Law, Persons, Property, Obligation, Liability, Legal Sanctions, Custom Precedent & Legislation, and Rights & Duties

Part B

  • Crimes and Torts: India Penal Code- General Principle and General Exceptions, Joint Liability, Consumer Protection Act 1986, General Principles of Tort, State Liability for Torts and Defenses
  • Labor Law: Industrial Disputes Act 1947 and Trade Union Act 1926
  • Mercantile Law: General Principles of Contract (Sections 1-75, Indian Contract Act-1872)
  • Public International Law: Nationality and Statelessness, State Jurisdiction, International Law & Municipal Law, Subjects of International Law, Air, Sea, and Outer Space, Extradition, Asylum, State Territory, and United Nations

TS PGLCET Counselling 2024

Counseling is an event where the candidates who have scored more marks than the cut-off mark released by various law schools and colleges can go and take admission. Every Law college accepting TS PGLCET scores will release their respective cut-off mark and the candidate have to apply for admission respectively. In this event, the candidate will have to submit the documents to finalize their admission.
